Subject: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) and Technology
http://www.webmd.com/news/20060426/clean-that-computer-keyboard seems to indicate that Clorox disinfectant wipes BEFORE the computer is turned on in the mornings in conjunction with use of hand sanitizer prior to each use would be best to help prevent MRSA among other diseases/infections on computers. This practice should be best performed at least once daily, regardless of staph infection status as it will help prevent infectious diseases such as the common cold.
Not only do we recommend this for keyboards, but also mice, power buttons and any other surface typically touched.
