Falcon Flash 2017-2018

The debut of the 2017-18 academic year at The Gardner School coincided with an historical astrological event and made some history of its own.
While the entire student body enjoyed the solar eclipse on Monday, many are more excited about the news that art and music are now part of the school’s offerings. Katie Keeling will teach art and Jenna Inscho will teach music. The duo will be at The Gardner School one day each week.
Principal Pam Levie said she was very excited that students will have the opportunity to enrich their lives and educations through music and art.
The two part-time teachers are joined by four other newcomers on the teaching staff: Christi Foggel, ESS; Debbie Tanzy, interventionist; Laura Colgan, third and fourth grade, and Mark Vialpando, seventh and eighth grade.
Enrollment at Gardner School is up this year with 30 new students/families. 83 new and returning students and families shared their excitement and eagerness to begin the school year by attending Back to School Night in the school cafeteria on August 15.
