Mrs. Colgan came to Gardner School from Pennsylvania. She brought her husband, two children, and two dogs. Mrs. Colgan has experience teaching in a variety of settings, from rural western Pennsylvania to suburban Phoenix Arizona. In all of her classrooms, her number one concern is the classroom community. Classroom community allows for children to feel safe and loved. This sense of belonging also enables children to feel more confident to participate in the class. Outside of school, she enjoys being outside walking, horseback riding, watching the sunset, and taking in the mountain views. Her favorite outfit is a pair of jeans and hooded sweatshirt. She is also 2017’s volleyball coach for Gardner! Mrs. Colgan is excited to be part of the Gardner community!
