Congratulations to both of the Gardner School Middle School DestiNation Imagination teams, Treasure and Drop Zone. Both placed first at the regional competition and have earned money through pledges and sales to move on to the state championship. The competition will be held in Denver on April 7th. We thank our regional Southern Colorado group for all of your help.

This year Pam Levie, Christi Fogel and volunteer, Liz Schneider will coach two middle school DestiNation Imagination teams. The students have been selected, compacts and parent permissions have been sent home and Tuesday, November 7 is when the first practice will happen. Practice will begin at 3:00 and run until 5:00 each Tuesday. As we get closer to competition times, the teams may need additional practices on the weekends.

The goals of DI are:

Creative & Critical Thinking
Team Building
Problem Solving
Risk Taking
Project Management
Perseverance
Self-Confidence
