A Kindergarten Turkey Dinner

Sofia:  ÒFirst you wash the turkey and cook it in the oven for 9 hours at 67 degrees.  After you get it out, sometimes you put sauce on it.  Then you let it cool and then cut it and eat it!Ó

Felipe:  ÒFirst you cook it 12 minutes on a stove in a pan.  You put the stove on 38 degrees.  You put garlic salt, pepper, and hot chili on it. Then you eat.Ó

Kodi:  ÒFirst you put the turkey in a pan.  Then put the stove on and heat up to 6 degrees.  Then put the turkey on the stove and put stuff on it, like pepper and garlic.  Then you cook it for 10 hours.Ó

Chloe: ÒFirst you kill the turkey.  Then you butcher it.  You put garlic salt, salt, and pepper on it. Cook it in the oven for 60 minutes at 60 degrees.  Then you eat it!Ó

Trey:  ÒFirst you put seasoning on it like pepper, salt, and spices.  Then put it in the oven.  You put the oven on cook and turn it up to 39 degrees. But then thatÕs not too hot, so you turn it to 140 degrees, as hot as desert and cook for 4 hours.   By the time it is ready, you slice it up and eat it!Ó

Cole:  ÒFirst you put salt on it and put the turkey in the oven.  Then you turn the oven on 50 degrees.  You cook it for 20 hours.  Then you take it out, cut it, and put more salt on it.  Then you eat it!Ó

1i'm not a turkey.jpgGabriel: ÒFirst go get a turkey from a barn.  Then you take it home and cook it.  You take the skin off and put in oven.  You turn the oven on 10 degrees and cook it for maybe 6 minutes.  You can put salt on it if you want.  Then you eat it.Ó

Falcon Basketball
By Marianna, Kaylee, & Tim

::Documents:7th Grade Articles:Clip Art :Free-Clipart-of-Basketball.jpgMr. Crosson and Coach Jenn are very exciting about the upcoming season of basketball.  Crosson thinks that basketball is going to be very fun.

The 6th, 7th, and 8th are playing.  Sadly, the 5th grade will not be joining them this year because there are too many kids.  Crosson and Coach Jenn also decided it is better not to play 5th graders against 7th & 8th graders.

Both Crosson and Jenn feel that this year will be interesting because they have young team members who have lots to learn.

The boys and girls competed in the Primero tournament this last weekend.

Congratulations to the boys who placed 2nd! It was an exciting tournament for both girls and boys!

Come Cheer on the Falcons!

Gardner Students are practicing Òfilling bucketsÓ rather than empting buckets.  A personÕs ÒbucketÓ is filled when other students say or do respectful and kind things.   So the Gardner Gazette editors remind to fill buckets!
