TDIP or Targeted District Improvement Plan, is a partnership between CDE (Colorado Department of Education) and the Huerfano Re-1 School District to work together and improve our district's student achievement. Through our partnership came funding to help our school acheive its goals, improve quality of education, and systematize the district as a whole.
We started out by identifying our core issues/challenges, creating district-wide goals, and developing a school improvement plan that would make the difference. With the funds we have recieved and are very accountable for, we have hired three vendors to help train and implement the changes desired. They are CASB, Edison Learning , McREL. Below are some scheduled items that have and will occur to develop and train all staff to be superior in their field. There will be more and more updates so bookmark this page.
