Dear Parents and Guardians,

Data driven instruction is at the heart of education.  When a teacher is able to have test results quicker, they are able to make data driven decisions that best fits their students.  To accomplish this, the district has an assessment day scheduled for August 30, 2018.

On this day, each family will select a two-hour block of time to bring their students to the school for testing.  Within this two hour block, students will be tested in DIBELS and NWEA Reading and Math.

This day is considered a school day.  No classes will be held on this day.  Attendance is required and recorded.  All students must participate in this day.  If a student does not attend this testing day, it is considered an unexcused absence.  Teachers will be responsible for students during the two-hour block that each family selected.  Please be prompt with dropping students off and prompt picking them up at your scheduled time.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call Peakview at 719-738-2190.

Please mark which time period will work best for your family and return to each of your student’s teacher.
