E-Rate is a program that helps schools and libraries get affordable internet and telecommunications services. The program is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and funded by contributions from telecommunications providers. It is also known as the Universal Service Schools and Libraries Program.

Each year, Schools and Libraries submit funding requests to assist with purchasing services such as Internet Access and network infrastructure equipment.
